Small-Sided Games (SSG)  
The CDSFA, along with other Districts through NSW, is committed to implementing in full the Football Federation Australia (FFA) program of Small Sided Games (SSG). Teams in age groups of under 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 shall play in SSG formats in broad accordance with FFA guidelines in 2010.

Age Groups under 6 and 7 will play "Intra-Club", ie, against other Balmain Club teams. Age Groups under 8 and 9 will play "Inter-Club", ie, against other local clubs and shall also be “non-competitive”.

Age Groups under 10 and 11 shall be competitive, ie results, standings and finals series.
Mode of competition by 2010.
If, in accordance with all other associations, our mode of competition shall be implemented in the formats as follows:
